Apparel
I'm inspired by the quilting traditions of working with what you have - scraps, secondhand materials, etc. - to create something new and beautiful. Adding quilt blocks - primarily pieced from scraps and thrifted fabrics - to pre-loved apparel gives them new life, and is such a fun way to add some quilty flair to your wardrobe! I primarily work with jackets, but occasionally also add quilt blocks onto shirts, dresses, and other interesting and inspiring pieces.

Hats
I make these mini Ohio star quilt blocks using some of my tiniest scraps - the smallest pieces are only 1.25 inch squares! I hand stitch each one to a 100% cotton dad hat, and each one is completely unique.

Miscellaneous
I also make a variety of other quilty things, including tote bags, mug rugs (coaster sets), ornaments, wall hangings, and pre-made patches.
These other projects can provide a fun outlet to use materials and textiles that aren't generally condusive to quilting - for example, fabric from worn out jeans or damaged jackets can be used to create strudy bases and handles for bags that will get a lot of use, and upcycled bedsheets make great bag linings. Mug rugs are a great way to use small scraps of batting, and also often include scraps from worn jeans or similar materials as the backing.

Quilts
Patchworks stemmed from my love of quilting! And especially, the joy I find in creating individual quilt blocks with visually engaging fabrics and interesting block layouts/designs. Here are a few snapshots of some past - and currently ongoing - quilt projects.
